Today I have a wonderful picture to share with you! My neighbor is the genius behind the picture, and she gave me permission to share it. Because, it is too good not to share!
We live in a wonderful neighborhood with a sort of wetland in the back of our house. There are trees, a small creek, and it is full of wildlife! One of the best things is to wake up in the morning with the sun shining through your window and seeing all the beautiful trees. There are birds galore, we have a splendid Stellar Jay and beautiful woodpeckers. At night, we’ve heard coyotes, owls, and our neighbor says she even saw a bobcat once! How crazy is that?!
The other day she was fortunate enough to capture a picture of the owl that’s been hooting his way around our little piece of nature. I always hear him, but I’d never been able to see him. And WOW, he is beautiful!! A Barred Owl in our backyard is one of the most wonderful things in the world!
